hard miles, with the 150 shot, still going strong

 

84,000 on a 96, probably mostly hard miles.. was a repo car but its having a good life now!!

 

227,000.........got the car at 213,000 and it went 13.68 with nothing done...........BONE STOCK, ohh did I mention automatic!. Since then I have had the intake off the car to re-seal the back....and there is no work done to the intake or heads. It looks as if it is the original motor too! there are no rebuild tags. I car faxed the car the car and it had 100000mi put on it in 2 years. I talked to the previouse owner...and he said he commuted with it. I put a 5speed in it and race it very often. ITS A FREAK.

 

68,000 on mine.

 

Why didn't you go with a Tremec T-56 if you were going through the hassle of a auto to manual conversion? And that is one definite freak, my LS1 only went 8.59@84MPH(~13.5ish in the quarter)

The most impressive is, of course, the 220,000 mile car. Engine is still strong, tranny has been rebuilt and front end needs some parts but other than that, car looks and runs pretty darn good!

 

I had the whole setup out of a 91 camaro...the trans started to slip between hard shifts so I had to do it. I also would rather go with the new tremec 600 which holds up much better to powershifting that the t56. The hole conversion only took me 4 hours...so it was deff worth it. right now I have 1.6 rockers, full exhaust....cold air and an air foil and I am suprising the hell out of modified ls1's. Also has stock 3.45s. I Cant explain it....not going to try. I no its mid 12s with tire.

 

1500 miles for me, twice, once it was split up between 2 days, the other time I actually drove 24 hours straight through home from school, it was only off long enough to get gas, poor car, no problems though.

 

I'm at 113,000 and I bought it stock at 75,000 in 2001. The Z is still kicking strong and runs like a track star on pcp.

About 9500 on my 97SS, but only around 1000 on the new 4-bolt main shortblock. Hopefully, I will be able to hit the 10 grand mark this summer.

Uses no oil and gets 24mpg with an a4.
