how many miles on your LT1
Re: how many miles on your LT1
134,000 on the chassis, only about 30k on the motor though
I had two other LT1's in the past with 125,000 and 115,000 miles before this one, both on the original motor running perfectly.

Re: how many miles on your LT1
My mechanic has a 1994 Z28 with 423,000 miles on it
That makes it the highest mileage vechile I've ever seen(besides a semi, I've seen a Kenworth that had the 6 digit odometer rolled over)
Its that funny teal green color and the outside is remarkably clean, however the inside is completely ragged out. He claims the only things that have been replaced on the car are the water pump and optispark, along with the plugs and wires. Still on the orginal auto tranny. Claims he kicked some Mustang's a@@ on the freeway with it too.

Re: how many miles on your LT1
Sould be about 90K on the one in my Caprice, got it from a junkyard with a reported 40K(seemed to be accurate from the GM service records on the car) and I put 50K on it since then, the last 28K of which with a cam. My 95 Roadmaster wagon has 173K and I see no indication of any serious work but do not know the service history for sure. On the b-body board there are more than a couple over 200K, same shortblock as you guys so that should make you feel good. Just yesterday someone started a thread on this http://www.impalasuperstore.com/nais...TOPIC_ID=26861 a few over 300K.
Re: how many miles on your LT1
151,000 here. Still running strong. And I've abused the hell out of it ever since I got it 90,000 miles ago. Only things i've had to change are the waterpump and 3 opti's
Re: how many miles on your LT1
123k= blow by city.
Jus picked up a stock motor out of a 93 with 60k on it. Its in, jus finishing a few odds and ends up. Cam and valve train is swapped over. Shootin for 11s this time
