Wow! If I could do it in under an hour I wouldn't even hesitate to do it myself.

Once you do it enough everything can be done faster. I've swaped opti's in about a hr and plugs with stock manifolds in 45 mins. Plus it helps when you have custom tools to help make the job easier.

Well I've decided to do it myself. The fans are out, everything's disconnected, the plug wires are off, and I'm just about to the point of getting the water pump off. I'll get to that tomorrow. Also, that'll be when I pull the crank pulley off. What all gaskets do I need for this job? I have two water pump gaskets. What else?

Yep, just the pump gaskets , since your already at it go ahead and do the coil/module cooling upgrade( space them away from heads) . If you havent already done this?

I haven't already done this. I haven't even heard about it to be honest. Do you just use some washers? How far away do you space it away from the head?

Yea, you just use some spacers about 1-1/4 inches out . This will help keep your module and coil cooler , no proven gains to power that I am aware of , but it should extend the life of both. I learned this at shoebox's awesome site .

Cool. Thanks guys. I'm hoping to get the opti bolted in tomorrow. I'm planning on finishing everything up on Thursday. It sucks only have ~2 hours to work on it each day. Wouldn't be a problem if not for daylight saving time.
