how many bolts

how many bolts do i need to remove from the oil pan to drop it down just far enough so i can get the front cover off?

mostly all of them unless you want to ruin the pan and gasket

i removed all of the pan bolts and i was able to drop it down quite far. I wouldn't want to risk not pulling enough bolts and ripping the gasket...because the pan gasket is a bitch to replace.

alright well im to the fourth bolt on the drivers side and its basically impossible to get to due to the coolent lines. any tips would be appreciated.
