He's got great products...
but, if you do a search, you'll see this is always a problem ;-)
he's slow getting things out.. and acknowledging, etc
but trust me, they're worth the wait ;-)

All I know about this person is that the products sometimes take months to ship because he builds the products himself. He works a regular job and sometimes stuff happens. He often does not get around to doing email and so stuff piles up. Everybody likes his products. I have yet to hear of a product complaint except for how slow it is to receive and poor communication. Most likeley the website is not updated.

My take on this is picture yourself liking to make these cool shift lights. Picture yourself having a full time job, a life, and sometimes you get piles of orders and sometimes you don't... SOmetime you get yanked out of town and orders pile up... You don't have access to email while away...

I think this is a "hobby" business for the gentleman. Be patient.

Running a business is running a business....no matter how you look at it.

I'm with you man I hate when businesses **** me around and believe me I make it known... Okay yes, I understand the shift lights are great but **** that doesn't mean you take my money and sit on it for a while and not answer emails. I have had that happen to me with so many companies its sickening, I would like sock these people in the face honestly. It's a friggin business for crying out loud. It's like, you have my money, now give me what a I payed for when I paid for it, it's common courtesy and decent business practice. It's that people these days have forgotten how to do good business, people are rude and inconsiderate and are only out for the money (customer satisfaction is nonexistent). I have problems with so many companies, it's ridiculous. I don't want excuses, I want forward progress with my damn order. Take cmotorsports for example, the people are so helpful you only hear good about that company... they are on time with shipping and customer support/satisfaction is 100%... when I own a company in my lifetime it's going to be successful because I know what good business is.

The way I see it, you should always research your product before you buy it...
If you do your research, you'll find out two things..
Harlan shiftlights are the best, BUT, it always takes a while for you to get them...
So, you have to choose... pay now and wait two months, or buy a crappy mass produced shiftlight

There were so many good posts that I just happened to see with nothing about delays or months until receipt of good that it looked like a good thing. A shift light is a shift light.....mass produced lights just cost more....and no cheaper doesn't mean he should take his time sending em to u...just means there is no middle man jacking up the price.

I havent yet and Im thinking about filing a complaint with paypal. Its been over a month with NO response to my emails.

I wouldnt be so upset but no replies to emails and a place on the website that says shift lites will ship out in 7-10 days really leaves no excuse....

I just sent him another one wed. I wasn't expecting it to be speedy, so i'm not upset yet. A more accurate time estimate on his site would be nice for people who don't know . I still would have ordered it.

If I had known it would take forever and a day to ship a 50 dollar light I would have purchased a tach with one built-in. It is deceptive...in a way...if he's been taking forever to ship these...and it's been this way for a while.....he should have let us know atleast on the website....not after taking our money and not returning our emails for 2 weeks or more.

Well guys the only option you will have is to call your creditcard company (if it's been over a month). That is only addressed to the people who would like their shift light this summer that is hehe. But seriously...paypal limits investigations to one month but it still goes on their record. I just filed my complaint and am thinking about the backcharge. I just want the friggin light!
