I'm confident that I could do this myself, but I was wondering what all you have to do? Is it just a matter of connecting lines to existing fittings? Is it worth doing on a mild bolt on car? The tranny has 100k on it, isn't showing any signs of death yet, so I want to baby it and get as much out of it as I can.

It is a simple install. I did mine in about 45 minutes maybe. Yes, I would advise you put one on, it's a good thing to have.

Thanks for the input so far. What brand is the most reliable or most popular? Does it use a bracket of some sort to attach to the radiator?

I couldn't get those damn push ties or what ever they are called through the trans cooler, radiator & condensor. It was a royal pain in the a**. That was the tough part for me. I ended up taking it to my friends shop to do it on the lift.

That was the hardest part for me also, getting the zip ties through the radiator. I cut my hands up pretty good doing that.

I went with a B&M 24,000 GVW tranny cooler in case you're wondering.
