how to install pro 5.0

does anyone have a link to show how to install a pro5.0 shifter on a 95 trans am??

also, ive heard alot of you cut the shifter down a bit. what are you cutting and by how much, where will they do this and do i give any special directions to the person cutting it?? wich side do i cut?

its really quite easy to install w/o any instructions but if you still want some then try www.bfranker.badz28.com and search for one in there... im pretty sure youll find something useful.

i cut mine down an inch. to do this you have to cut some of the threads off the shifter handle. mine was actually marked where it was an inch which was nice. i cut it down with a hack saw.

install isnt that hard, but you will probably have to remove the entire console, i did it without removing the bottom part with the center console, but it was a PITA

and!!! dont forget to tighten the bolts holding the actual shifter with a 6mm hex wrench.. dont just hand tighten it or it will come undone on the interstate going 75 from the vibration...

it took me about an hour to do, and that was through the console. if you take that part off, should be a lot easier
