How To Install New o2 sensors.

What is the best way to remove and insert new o2 sensors? The passanger side seems especially difficult to reach. I plan to burrow a o2 sensor socket from autozone to help, any tips?

My sensors don't have antiseize on them, can i use any kind?

I second that....spray alot of WD-40 or whatever on it and let it soak a bit, then slowly do the best you can. Fortunatly, I had no problems removing mine. Goodluck. Its a fairly straightforward R&R.

Just have the right extensions and maybe a universal joint or flex head extension to help get you in that odd angle...

Get a 7/8 combination wrench and a hammer to break it loose. Put anti sieze on the new ones and next time they will come out.

They come out easier if the exhaust system is hot. Your skin may not like it that way, though

My AC/Delco sensors indicated on the package that they were pre-coated with electrically conductive anti-sieze, and that no additional material should be used. You do not want to get any foreign materials on the sensor, including the outside, where air needs to enter the sensor to generate the small voltage produced by the zirconium membrane.

I did the drivers side and it wasn't that bad. Anyone got some tips for the passenger side? Did you get it from the top or bottom and how did you have it set up? I can get the socket on it from the top but no matter how i set my extensions and wrench up, I cant get them to ratchet at all.
