How to install new dash pad?

I just bought a new dash pad for my Z28 and I'm trying to figure out how to remove the old one. Any help would be appreciated.

Pretty easy . It is held on by heavy duty velcro and I believe 3 plastic posts . Just pry it up in two places with 2 wide putty knives it will pop right up. Also you will have to remove your A pillar trim .

I see two alan screws on the a-pillar and a metal rod connecting the a-pillar trim to the t-top secure trim... There doesnt seem to be room to remove the screws?

after removing the T top on the A pillar are 2 phillips screws holding the A pillar plastic piece in, once removed tug the A pillar plastic off. Its held in by 2 metal clips. Pops right off

You don't need to remove the A pillars. I had mine out a few times, and never did it. One word of advice though. Do not, under any circumstances, push in the middle of the pad with force. Mine cracked in half cause I was dumb, and didn't realize what I was doing.

Well the a-pillar trim is flush up again the edges of the dash pad... not really any room to work with the trim there

True. It's proably better to remove the A pillars, but the dash pad will slide out without removing them, and will fit back in. You may have to manipulate it a little to get it back in. Just saying how I did it. If you don't mind removing the A pillars, its a better (Less chance of breaking) way.
