How to improve my bottem end?

Got all the common bolt-ons including long tubes and feeling a loss of bottom end torque. The car has lost the funness it once had.

I went from a lightly modded 2.73 car to a stock 3.23 car and it felt alot faster and was more fun from a 0-60 aspect.

So i was thinking that maybe an upgrade to 3.42's or 3.73's would help.

What do you guys think?

It's a daily driven car that drives only in the city.

I want a responsive, quick 0-60, bottom end fun car , and not really a top end quick ET car.

Although you didn't say - I'll assume you have an auto tranny.

Swap out those 3.23's for some 3.73's and you'll find your problem fixed.

If your car is more of a dail driver than I would go with a 3.42. If you are going to take it to the track much then I would go 3.73.

I like my 3.42s. I tried 3.73s and I felt they were too much for a daily driver on the highway.

Well, you said you just drive it in the city, so then go with 3.73's, but if you plan on highway action, the those are gonna be too much.

2,800rpm stall converter would do the trick.

This was going to be my reply as well. 2800-3000 stall w/ a 2.5 str should have you smiling like a fiend again.

I was thinking the same thing when I did the LT4 swap, the hot cam just completely killed the bottom end, just installed a trans go shift kit and 3500 stall, man, i'm still grinning about driving it and haven't touched it since saturday.
