How hot does dipstick tube get? Hot enough to burn wire?

My spark plug came loose and my boot fell off... so after I snugged it back up.. it seems the only way to route my wire is to have it run agaist the dipstick tube.

It's the actualy boot that is touching, not the wire, but how hot will the tube get? The tube isn't touching the header, so it wont conduct. Could it ever get hot enough to burn the wire? Thanks!

My Lokar dipstick gets pretty hot but I don't think it's hot enough to hurt a silicone spark plug wire. If you're worried about it, put a piece of that split wire wrap on the plug wire.

unless the dipstick tube is touching the header you're not even comming close to heat breakdown point of the wires unless you have those stupid MSD wires, they break just by touching them LOL.
