I've got ross 90450 pistons with eagle 6" i-beams and stock crank. Everything forged and balanced.

The top end determines the optimum rpm range, is that what you are asking? Or are you asking about how many r's your motor can take? Rpm and engine longevity are directly related. A 350 has a medium stroke (3.48") and as such should have no problem with a fairly steady diet of 6,500rpm with occasional forays a bit higher. Of course, that assumes it's been put together well with good parts and has a good oiling system. I'd like to see ~80psi oil pressure when you approach 7,000rpm.

A good SBC drag race motor will have no problem with a season at 8,500rpm red line, or even more. But with that kind of use the motor seess very high rpm for just a couple of seconds at a time.

Yes, I was referring to how much rpm the bottom end can handle.

Rich pretty much covered it.
Most important factors here are the quality of the build and the parts used.
You should be just fine with the parts you have.

If you are racing, I would go up to about 6800-6900, but 6500ish at most on the street.
