How does air foil work?

How does air foil work?

I just saw one on jegs webpage for $60, and they say that it give up to 11.8 hp. Just wandering guys if its worth it and have you guys noticed and difference.

Save your money. They don't really do anything. They supposedly straighten the air out. I don't see how that thing is good for more than a horse, maaaaaybe 2. You can find other brands
for about half that price if you really wanted one anyway.

I tell ya what, you can just waste half your money and send me a check for $30 and I'll send you a sticker for your car. You'll have the same results for power.. They are a waste of money!

I will sell you mine for 30 shipped. its a jet air foil. I was using it for the N20 so it wouldnt hit the "wall" in the TB

They aren't a waste of money, just a waste of $60 I generally pick up quite noticable CFM gains with one. Without it, it hits a major wall of restriction. I wish I could find enough cheaply, I would put them on all of the throttle bodies we sell.

www.ws6.com dyno tested a 2 rwhp gain with an airfoil. You can usually find them online, ebay, for sale section, etc for about $20. I highly suggest the Hypertech unit as the fit on it is the best i've seen

they work by making your wallet lighter

I got one for real cheap, so I thought why not, but if it makes a difference, it's not a noticeable one at all.
