i bought the GM block plate for $45 (what a ripoff! it doesnt even come with clips, just double sided tape)

anyway i can't install it w/o taking this out i dont think


how do i remove it? (the arrow is pointing to it... its where the stock airbox clips to)

I left that little duct in there when I put my K&N FIPK on. I guess I don't really understand what you're doing since that picture doesn't work...

I think SLP may block hot links. Copy and paste the address. It works that way

 

so does anyone know how to remove that piece in the pic i posted above with the arrow pointing to it? i think the SLP/GM piece just goes on with double sided tape as some came with it, which ironically i also have some of my own from when i repaired the airbox's front weatherstripping which was sagging....

 

yea i took my hands and i ripped it off?.. lol

 

does it really just pull out? maybe on a camaro but on a T/A i think that module above it is attatched to it and is for the headlights...
