How do you lift the engine?

Have it out from the bottom but cannot figure out how you lift up the engine to get it off the K member. Are there hooks somewhere or are they available that you screw into the intake so you can lift up? I have a crane, chains and a load leveler but cannot see where I need to hook up.

Thanks,

Ben

I see you got it out, I hope my tips helped.
To answer your question you should be able to to work some bolt in where the exahust manifolds go after they are pulled. Any threaded hole should do on each side.

Yes they helped.

I see open bolt locations and I assume I can just go down to Home Depot and buy some eye-bolts and lift from those.

Assume that 2 bolt locations will be fine for lifting this tranny/engine assy? Those bolts would be like 1/4" dia into aluminum. Seems a bit flimsy to me but I have never done this before.

Ben
I would remove the tranny first.

I recommend pulling the exhaust manifolds and use 2 of those holes(they are 3/8 16 thread), use 1 hole on each head, one towards the front, and one towards the rear, with the trans still attached, it will lean to the rear
