How do you degree your cam?

How do you degree your cam?

Curious. Is it needed? I just installed the 306 and before I start buttoning it back up wanted to know if this is necessary and how to do it.

With the design of the Opti-spark, everything is installed correct, or 180* backwards. Just line up the dowel pin, and the hole on the back of the Opti with TDC. You can use TDC on 1 or 6, I think.
