How do the taillights come off?
I need to replace the brake light bulbs in my 94Z. I unscrewed the wingnut inside the trunk, but it doesn't come off easily, and I don't want to break anything. Is there something besides the 1 wingnut to take off, or is there a certain motion involved?
you dont have to take off the brake lights to get the bulbs out....just remove the rear carpet and there are these black ***** you turn and pull and the light bulb comes out...thats it...but you need to remove the carpet i belive...i remember doing this because i have parted out my other camaro....
let me know if im wrong but if i am im sorry....

On mine, I pulled away the carpet, there's 1 black wingnut on each side that I took off, which exposes a screw that's connected to the taillights. That's the only thing that comes through to the inside of the car, so I pulled away at 1 of the lights, and it comes out partway, but the outside end is still held on by something. Is this just a clip I can pull at?
