How do I turn off the SECURITY light, that's on the instr. panel?

I don't have a factory security system, so I don't know how to turn the light off. It came on after the wire to my starter went bad. New starter and new wire, but light is still on. I disconnected the battery for an hour, but that didn't do anything. If anyone knows how to take care of this, I sure would appericate it, it's annoying, thanks.

Your car comes with the Passkey security system. That is why you have the security light.

I can tell you about the Integumentary, Lymphatic, Nervous and even the Endocrine system right down to the Epithelial tissue, that says hi to you every morning. Put ANYTHING mechanical/electrical in front of me and it gets ugly. Thank you for the advice.

Sometimes you can get hurt working on your car. That knowledge may come in handy.

I know my extended Naval vocabulary does, quite often, in fact.
