How do I revove or bypass the EVAP cannister.

Actually no, it has been plugged for at least 4 years, I now know this caused excess fuel tank pressure buildup problem. When the cap was removed a huge blast of wind would almost knock you down.

I agree. Is there anyway to remove it and not have a fuel odor problem?

If there is, then I'll go for it. If not, I guess I just have to live with a little clutter under the hood

The odor must be a very subjective thing, some say its bad and others say its no big deal.

I'd rather not have any odor at all. I wish I knew how to eliminate that stuff without that penalty

It is very subjective because I removed my evap and have never noticed the smell unless my face is really close to the filler cap. I guess some poeple think they are driving a Cadillac

cant you just remove that white "check valve" to allow air to move both in and out of the tank?

I guess ill be a test dummy..ill put a small breath on the end of it and try it...but dont hold your breath, i wont be driving the car till mid may.
