My friends and I believe that I have a bad main bearing on one or more of my connecting rods, I was wondering if anyone had any helpful tips ideas or insights on the best way to change the bearings, pulling out the engine or anything tat could be useful for us. We've seen youtube videos read haynes manuals brainstormed but basically we already know its not going to be as easy as we would hope. So I'm asking that someone with alot more skill and knowledge help us out WITH ANYTHING that would make this easier, quicker or smoother.

Have you done any forum searches? There are countless threads about engine removal and documented guides. Out the bottom is probably the favorite way.
