Talking How do I ge the stinkin' AC Compressor out!?

My Hot Cam/Opti Swap project has tuned into a let's-clean-up-the-engine-bay-by-removing-everything-we-don't-need project. So I've removed all the plumbing from under hood related to the AC system.....all except for the compressor. I removed 3 bolts from the front the front and 2 from the back but I can't get it out. It wiggles quite a bit, but it feels like something is still attached. It looks like there may be some kind of strap around it or something??

Just like an alternator, sometimes it can be wedged between the brackets. There is a bolt holding the rear bracket to the block. Remove that if you can get to it and see what that does.

Like shoe box says, find the bolt at the back of the comp that attaches to the block. You need to look up from just behind the right hand lower control arm. It's not too hard to get a socket on it with extension.
