How to determine spring code???
I am trying to figure out why my car sits lower than most other F-bodies that haven't been lowered. I don't think it's been lowered, but I did buy the car used so I'm not 100% on that.
I'm trying to determine what springs my wife's car has compared to the springs in my car to know if they're different...
The Camaro parts book (since the Firebird book is missing Group 7 - Rear Suspension) shows several two letter codes to determine the proper part number for the springs.
Now, how do I determine what the two letter code for the cars are, does anyone know where the code is?

The springs have a tag on them with the 2 letter code. It should match the RPO code sticker where the "xx" is the two letter code on the spring sticker:
6xx
7xx
8xx
9xx
Ex.
6HD : SPRING, COMPUTER SELECTED, FRONT, LH
7HD : SPRING, COMPUTER SELECTED, FRONT, RH
8TH: SPRING, COMPUTER SELECTED, REAR, LH
9TH: SPRING, COMPUTER SELECTED, REAR, RH
6xx
7xx
8xx
9xx
Ex.
6HD : SPRING, COMPUTER SELECTED, FRONT, LH
7HD : SPRING, COMPUTER SELECTED, FRONT, RH
8TH: SPRING, COMPUTER SELECTED, REAR, LH
9TH: SPRING, COMPUTER SELECTED, REAR, RH
