Its not exactly good for your car but it once in a while should be ok...

1. Put car in D
2. Put brake pedal to floor
3. smash gas
4. let off brake a little at a time so you start rolling
5. let off completely to roll out of your cloud of smoke

You left off the last steps:

6. Drive to auto parts store for new rear brake parts
7. Stop by tire store to price new tires

Some occasional tire smoke won't be too detrimental. Just be aware that it has consequences. A line lock, as suggested, is the answer.

in case you didn't know what a line lock is i'll tell ya, It is an electric valve/actuator that goes inline with your front brake line after the master cylinder, you put the brakes on and activate the line lock and release the brake, it holds pressure on the front brakes so when you spin your tires it dosen't have to overpower the rear brakes, like in powerbraking.

what kind of damage does it cause to the rear brakes? ....shoebox

i kno they are trying to hold during a powerbrake....damage to the rear pads...?

cause i think i have a sticking caliper piston in the rear.....consequently could be from tooooo many powerbrakes....oopps!

Thats what happens when you have a Z for your first car

Just excess wear and possible overheating and warpage of the rotor. Depends on how much you abuse it.

Because I invented the internet....no, wait...that was Al Gore.

Actually,
from the site administrators...

Why is my registration date of 1969 / 1970?

People who did not have a registration date back on the old UBB Message board were automatically given a default date when their user information was imported into our new Vbulletin.

Of course the internet was around in 1970. Don't you know that Al Gore was the first member of CamaroZ28.com?
