thats exactly what i was going to say. At least do some mild porting on them, otherwise id imagine up top you'd be missing out on quite alot of ponies. Why do you want to keep them unported just wondering?

You will waste time and money!!! Find a smaller SR cam, I would bet the smaller cam would be faster at the track. Seeing as how it would work better on the stock heads.
Also the cam listed above would need to see rpms that a stock short block can not reach. 6800 - 7500 rpms

That huge cam for stock heads?!! That seems crazy to me...You're right down there in Joe Overton/Eric Bradby country...Use them and go fast...

I would immediately stop talking to whoever told you that would be a good cam for stock heads because they evidently have no idea what they are talking about. That thing will have to rev way too high and stock heads fall on their face flow wise anywhere after 6k in fact before. That is a HUGE cam.

You have 40 degrees too much duration on both sides.

Did you know that stock LT1 heads don't flow as well as stock Vortec cast iron truck heads? Even a little bit of bowl porting can barely support as much as 236/244 degrees. You are going to loose power across the board. You will max out at 6500rpm, but you might have only 240 to 250 hp at the wheels instead of the 320 to 350 that the cam can wheel up on the right engine. You do mean these specs at the .050" checking clearance, but you would make better power if this was the advertised duration at running clearance.
You might have valve to piston interference too. Be really careful to check for it. If they hit, there are no such heads that will give you clearance, you will need to get your pistons cut for deeper valve reliefs. You can do it with pistons installed, but with the heads coming off, there will then be no reason to reinstall them again. Go with LT4 or aftermarket 185cc minimum.
You were really just playing with us , right??

you will need an aftermarket computer to really take advantage of that cam. the factory computer will not let you rev over 7200. so maybe a 255/263 would be better. i would get it with a 108 lsa though that's more ideal for a 350.
