I'm in that range for a 350 LT1 & its more then fine, it comes down to tunning, my LSA is rougher aswell & I can cruise at 1400rpm in 6th gear on the HWY & accelerate no problem, tons of power down low & uptop, all in the tunning, a lot of people have no idea how to tune big cams like that, the principle for tunning big cams like this flip upside down as apposed to small cams.

 

how much of a tune will i need? my last cam i think was a .509 intake and .514 exhaust...not for sure though. will my car still run ok but will i get more out of it if i get a new tune with my new cam? thanks!
