hot z

i have 1995 z28 that has started overheating so far i have had the system flushed changed the t stat and replaced the water pump i tried bleeding the system but after reading many of the threads i moght not have done it right but what im confused about is why when it overheats is the radiator is not hot i have checked the oil and there is no mix so my guess is the heads are ok i would appreciate any help (the temp has gone up but i shut it off before it got to the red). thanks

I had the same problem.. i ended up doin a head job anyways.. it was super warpped on the driver side...i had no smoke and no mix when i took them off

Did you buy a thermostat specifically designed for the LT1's reverse flow cooling system?

Did you read Shoebox's guide to cooling system problems?

Do the fans come on when the temperature reaches 226*F?
