You should have gotten the LT's before the cam... but thats another story. Youre seriously going to be down a good 20-30hp, maybe even more running those stock manifolds. I doubt youre going to notice a big increase in power with the hotcam on the set up you'll be running it, especially wihtout a tune.

Id say, save your money, get the LT's, and then get the tune. No need in paying for 2 tunes when the hotcam runs decent on stock programming.

its gonna run rough at idle... every car is different. I know mine sounded like it wanted to die at stop lights, but when driving it seemed ok. But i agree... you wont notice much difference with manifolds.

be ready to be disappointed with stock manifolds and a stock tune. I doubt youll see any horsepower over stock. Just dont be expecting anything at this point.

yea as long as youre going to do that stuff in the future dont look back. its not going to hurt anything, you just wont have the power yet.

The Hotcam is a cam you can get away with a stock tune on. I would still get it tuned down the road though to maximize your gains.

My hotcam ran really rich with a stock tune and would die sometimes when backing up.
