Re: Hookers really worth the $$$?

i have jet hot long tubes (coated obviously) and they started showing little dots of surface rust within 6 months, my car has never seen snow or salt and they still started to rust, yes it slows the rusting process down, but no, it doesnt prevent it.

woot woot 100th post!!!!!!

Ceramic coating relly makes that much difference huh? Just in temperature? What if I rapped it in header insulation?

Headers are more than just flow, the good tuned headers scavenge the exhaust.

Long tube Hooker headers on my bolt on/cc305 camaro picked up 2mph over my SLP short tubes in the quarter for me which is 20 horses or so..

Re: Hookers really worth the $$$?

you want ceramic coating.. even though it'll eventually go away or get chipped away it'll make them last longer... Ive had mine for about 15,000 miles and the coating is still holding up well.. only parts that are chipped away are from where i hit them or down by the collectors where water can set and build up... Dont wrap your headers.. its a fire hazard... as for being cooler... i wouldnt know... both burn you if u touch them coating or no coating...

As far as the cooling, I know my engine bay is ALOT cooler with the coated headers vs stock manifolds..

If you wrap them, they will disintegrate. Ceramic coating is good but on the Hookers they didn't last a year and started rusting. 1k miles tops. It does cool the underhood though. If I were you I would get uncoated headers and put this stuff on them.

I have this stuff and it works great.

Are Hooker Headers the same as JET HOT Headers. Becuase thats what I have in my camaro. Jet Hots. Those Headers are Bad AZZ I felt a big time difference in top end. It helps the TOP End on the LT1's really good considering LT1's are Torqy motors. BUt if there Jet Hot long tubes. Than hell yeah there worth every penny

hookers dont really cost much for what you get. consider this

you spend $100 total dating a girl for a month then you MIGHT get to touch a boob

now 100$ the first night with a hooker you can do pretty much anything you want

Re: Hookers really worth the $$$?

Jet hot headers are the same as Hooker except they use a slightly thicker gauge of aluminum... have the option of EGR and O2 hook ups if u choose... and come coated...
