Does anyone know if Hooker LTs will pass emissions? I am also wanting a CC305. Anyone know? If not, what do suggest I get header wise. I am definately getting the cam though.

 

Ive heard of the 305 passing emssions but tehnically putting on long tubes and moving your cats will probably fail your visual inspection. But if you dont have that then by all means go for it.

 

most emissions are computer now, so if you have o2 simms and your comp isn't throwing a code then you should be fine, but even if you have visual go for it man, they are so bad *** its unbelievable, just find some dude who will take a $20.

The enhanced emissions test accurately measures emissions from todays computer-controlled vehicles. Most 1996 and newer vehicles will receive an On-Board Diagnostic Test (OBD) which consists of two parts: First, the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) on the vehicle dash will be checked to see if it is working. Second, a scan tool will be connected to the vehicle's on-board computer to determine OBD system (readiness checks) to retrieve any stored diagnostic trouble codes, and to determine MIL illumination status (commanded on or off).
