Hooker long tubes and stock gaskets??

My felpro gaskets just got fried. Anyways, Im wondering if I could get away with using stock GM Lt1 gaskets for the install??

I will also be using stage 8 bolts.

Thanks

yup and they work great. i started using gm factory gaskets after about 5 sets of fel pro's. i like all of fel pro's other gaskets. but i'd rather use elmers glue than fel pro header gaskets.

I think I will give the GM ones a shot here.

i don't see why they wouldn't...the head is D shaped, and the gasket is also D shaped.

if anything wouldn't fit it'd be cuz of the piece of crap hooker headers have the wrong port on them,,they are rectangle shaped.

Re: Hooker long tubes and stock gaskets??

Well, the gaskets didn't really fry, they simply just burnt out.

I agree, what the hell is up with the rectangular shaped port on the hooker headers. When I first got them I thought they sent me the wrong headers. But, it seems they do give results and ppl do have luck with them with stock GM gaskets...

I will try them out, the worst that can happen is I need to change them.......again
