Homemade GMMG Chambered Exhaust?

Homemade GMMG Chambered Exhaust?
I have recently though about switching from my Hooker 3" Cat Back system to something else. I like the sound of the GMMG Chambered exhaust system but there is no way i'm going to pay $700 or more for an exhaust system! I was on Summit Racing's site when I found some chambered mufflers that "look like" the ones used in the GMMG kit. Has anyone used these mufflers or tried to make a homemade GMMG knockoff system? Thanks...

Re: Homemade GMMG Chambered Exhaust?
Stainless works and Sweet thunder make chambered mufflers that are commonly used to make custom true dual systems. Id say for around 200$ you can get a true dual system welded up with the chambered mufflers. Get the summit universal x pipe and 2 muffler and some tips.
Should sound really good.

I was going to try this a few months ago but no shops around here have any compitance and they are all overpriced and I dont have the tools to do it myself so i just decided to get a cutout for now.

You are gonna want the x pipe, it adds more torque and smooths out the sound.
If you dont cross the pipes, it will probably sound like a harley at low rpms, im not sure about up high.
