Talking Holy smoke - New found power with Lloyd's heads!

I got say, after getting my heads back from Lloyd Elliott, I wasnt to impressed with the performance. My homeported heads (ported by me) made good power and didnt feel too much different from Lloyd's heads. I have been bumming. Tonight I noticed that my rockers were real noisey and it seems like I was getting some contact with a rocker arm and valvecover. Maybe some knock retard? So I looked tonight and sure enough I found some problems. 3 rockers loosened up, 4 header bolts backed out 1/4 of an inch, and I had a mark in the valvecover where a rocker nut had been hitting.

I tightened the rockers down, tightened the header back up and put on an LT4 valvecover. I go for a spin and It feels like a picked up 50hp, no lie! The car screams! God dang! Cant wait to hit the track and dyno in 2 weeks! These heads do breathe!

Moral of the story - Make sure everything is in tune with eachother, cuz one little thing can affect the performance!
