No room to install the cutout?!?!?



Thare is a different rear section on the car now than in this pic.

I say cut a little before and after the cat and weld on flanges so it can be removed and put back in for inspections. Get another length of pipe that is equal and weld in your cutout and flange that piece also. That way you can have the cutout in there and you can interchange it with the cat when necessary. That would also put the cutout in the ideal place for running wires for an e-cutout, which is the rubber grommet right above it.

bad a z28.. thast where i wanted to put the cutout but if you look at my pictures.. thats where the cat is.. so i was thinking put it in front of the cat.. pretty much just about a foot up.. but everyone is saying o2 sensors and backpressure.. is that 1 foot really that different? I think im gonna go with what joelis said in the very beginning.. the exhaust guy is amazing and im sure he can do just about everything.. i just dont understand how theres such a huge difference in that foot of I-pipe..



less94formula.. i like your idea also.. that might actually be what i do.. i just need to get a price quote on all this to see..
