Hitting Rev-Limiter after stall & tune??

First off, I have a 3200 stall and a PCMforless tune. Anyway, whenever I hit WOT I hit the Rev-limiter and it just stays there and "pings" around for awhile which really bogs me down. If I let off the gas a little and hit it again I'll take off again, but otherwise my speed increases very gradually once I ping the rev-limiter. Is this the OBDI shift problem? I was hoping Bryan would have been able to prevent this. Any ideas? Thanks.

I had the same problem after the tune from Brian.....I am still using stock stall though...I have narrowed things down to either....The tune, the tranny fluid change, or tranny going south ...Not really gotten far on any of these...Not sure what to tell you man......
BTW you got a Combination Motorsports tranny???? If so how much and how much for shipping , I am in Ky so I am guessing shipping would be about the same...Thanks....

I am gonna try a couple more things before I make a decision on a rebuild.....I am gonna try to a flush and transgo w/the stall and see what happens.....and go from there....I have Brians tuning.....And I did change the fluid around the same time that I got the PCM so I am thinking it has to be in one of the 2 .....Before this the tranny was fine even chirped 2nd, then after....well....it sucks...not sure it was the fluid or the tuning....I am gonna try a stock pcm and see what happens....never thought of that till now....
