Hey everyone,

My car has only recently been doing this.. after I give it some gas, then let off with the clutch still engaged, the engine makes a loud "CLICK" sound. Sounds metallic, almost like a loud, sharp pop.

It does this consistenly, although the pop sounds like it comes from various places under the hood. It sounds too loud to be an arcing wire or plug. I don't think its internal, because the engine is still running smooth when it clicks. I can't feel it, I can only hear it.

Any ideas? Thanks..

 

I've heard that noise before...open the hood and make sure your thottle cable isn't hitting the cowl. If so, use a zip-tie to secure it.
