Alright heres the deal, recently my car has been missing in the high RPMs usually around 5500 RPMs ( I have my limiter at 6000) and then the miss started occuring at a lower and lower RPM, now it misses at around 4000 and feels like it almost on a soft touch rev limiter when it is missing it will eventually go a head and pull on up to 6 but then again sometimes it wont. I believe that it is the optispark starting to go out but i have heard that the start missing at low RPMs rather than high RPMs, another thing i thought it might be is the fuel filter i have a A/F ratio guage and it tends to fluctuate a small amount towards the lean side when the miss starts occuring, i would have thought if im gettting the correct amount of fuel and the cylinder is just not firing that the a/f guage would show a richer than normal state

 

Sounds like the opti-spark. Check you plug wires first to make sure none are burnt or loose.
