470,000 !, that's the distance to the moon and back.

 

I've a 97 Z28 that has 429k and is still alive (not without a lot of help though, but orig motor/trans). When I bought the car the odo was unplugged (from auction, sneaky.. dealership told me it was broken) and 4 years later I found the odo wasnt actually broken. The long and short is that it didn't record my miles during that time period, so mileage is approx 460k.
There's always something wrong electrically.. opti, the ign coil and icm, whatever random sensor, etc, but luckily the motor itself has been strong.

 

Just passed 552,000. 2nd engine Had to do valve job and Opti.
