High Idle with MAF plugged in!

Well I just got done installing my new ls7 lifters. Now it idles at about 1500rpm

I can disconnect the MAF sensor and it will idle ok (about 800-900rpm) but as soon as I plug the MAF back in it goes back up.
I tried backing off the throtle stop screw and nothing happened.

I did have a decent vaccum leak from one of the vaccum hose inlets at the throtle body and it has ALWAYS been that way untill now just never noticed it I guess because it was running fine before.
I've fixed the vaccum leak and checked for more and still doing the same thing.

Is it possible that since I tuned it before WITH the vaccum leak that it somehow messed up the idle now WITHOUT vaccum leaks?

What else could it be?

Any help/ ideas are appreciated.
