the idle went down more than half with blocking off the iac hole, so i would say that would be the problem. I took the iac out and measured it and measured how far the hole was in the TB, and its not even close to the hole, so its gotta be frozen open.

ya owe me a wav file of that cam!!!!

good luck with it man, glad ya nailed it!

I just hooked up my performance shift option and park / neutral safety switch last night, going to drive it around tonight , let you know if there is any difference. I really think the p/n switch just tells the motor what to idle at, and would trigger the relay to keep the starter from kicking, but i'm sure you went around that like i did, my motor didn't come w/ the fuse/relay box.

have fun!!

I will post some videos and some files on my sounddomain page sometime soon.

Actually I have the PRNDL switch all wired in with the starter and it all works with the lockout features and everything. I didnt have a wire off the truck that was the PNP wire, so that's why I didnt hook it up.

Right now the shifting seems off on mine, but I might just be low on fluid still since I blew a line and it puked alot out. Let me know if the performance shift does anything, but I have a custom tuned computer from pcmforless, so I dont know if it would override it or not?

it may put out a better shift than what they tuned in. If you pulled those wires into the truck I can tell you how to hook them up, it's really simple. I would have to look up the wire locations, but it's a light and dark blue wire. one is setup on a momentary push button to ground, when you push it it tells the pcm to switch over, then the other wire hooks to a led and resistor to +12v so it lights up when in performance mode. I'll take pics of my setup, it's pretty cool.

all the pnp wire does is go to ground when you are in park or neutral, that's it. you can splice it into the stock truck harness w/ no worries. It'll just idle the truck up a little when in park vs when in gear.

i'm going out there now. just got a lt1 file w/ hypertech tuning installed, going to run it on the beast to see what it does.
