High flow cat--flanged or not flanged

for the record, I am a cheap skate and want the cheapest deal... with that in mind should i go with which one of these..

Car Sound High Performance 3" Catalytic Converter 99.95
Car Sound High Performance 3" Catalytic Convertor, Flanged For 1993-1995 LT1 159.95

If i get the non flanged one, id save 60 bucks right there... then all i have to do is get it welded on. If i do the flanged one thats 60 bucks more, plus i would still have to pay for installation...

Which would you car for, and if you have any experince with these cats let me know what you thought of it (sound mainly)
