High Flow Cat, Exhuast cut out installed

Well ive been doing alot of mods to the car lately, nothing big. I just got back from the muffler shop and man after the High flow and the exhuast cut out the car is hella loud. I did the same mods on my 93 Z and that had shorty headers but it wasnt as loud as this. I still have my stock headers for now my LT's are sitting at home. I think its the flowmasters thats making it louder, my magnflow wasnt as loud with almost the same mods. I did notice some low end torque gone but otherwise top end the car pulls pretty decent, granted it still needs the headers. To those who have done this mod what do you guys think?

I have a Magnaflow catback. I felt it was too tame so I added an exhaust cutout. Now I am happy.

Ya with my magnaflow it actually sounded perfect on my other Z i had. With the flowmasters its pretty loud with the cut out. Prior owner just changed the muffler i might get a magnaflow catback and get rid of all those crimped pipes, make it smoother and sound better.

You have to get an electric cutout on there to really enjoy it. I run my 1/3 open almost all the time and it sounds like a $800 exhaust and when I need to let someone know I'm around I can go to wide open at a seconds notice. Having it wide open on the freeway is horrible and vibrates to much. My plans are to run it at the track closed to keep the low end torque and open it when I hit wot and see if that improves my times. About 1 second from fully closed to fully open. This is one of the best mods and was reasonably cheap.
