High end Stutter found

I have been fighting a high end stutter for a while now. On the old heads it would show up but was high enough in the power band to not bother me. With the new heads I think it put more of a strain on the ignition that it showed up about 300 rpms lower..6750. I went through the whole process on a dyno for 2 days. I made many changes since I had access to some spare parts..the following are what we changed coil, plug wires/coil wire, msd box, gapped plugs twice, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel regulator, injectors, opti(actually since then we have tried about 3 variations of optis on it). What was happening is the plugs would stop fireing..and my aftermarket tack would die(got signal from msd box). I finally decided to rewire everything since I did it 3 years ago. I ran a new power wire to the msd box and checked all my connections from the opti to the msd box and the msd box to the coil. A few were alittle freyed and were showing theire age so I put new ends on the ones showing signes of wear. Well took it out today and it went to 7000 in first and 7300 in second..no problems..and tack didn't die. So...this is just one more thing to check for everyone haveing the high end stutter problem.

Now...off to the dyno to tune the new heads in the upper rpms and make some track times in this good air.

Thanks for the info... think I'll try the same thing. Looks real cheap too!
