High AMP Alternators

OK, I will start by saying I own a 95 camaro Z28. I'm currently in the process of building one of the most technologically adavced camaros ever. I need to find the highest AMP altonator available for our cars. The largest i have seen is 200. Anyone know of any higher? If not what are some of the best choices for a 200amp? Please post any good websites you might know of. Thanx a bunch guys.

Well that alternator sounds like its built very well, but I'm not seeing where they list the AMP rating for that one. Do you know what it is?

Re: High AMP Alternators

The one I am looking at for my '92 Corvette is 240 amps.

I think you can buy it cheaper from JCWhitney.

The JCWhitney catalog has them listed with the current rating too.
