hey is it worth the trouble? axle trade

Hey guys i had a friend who said he would give me a rearend (axle and driveshaft) out of a wrecked 2001 v6 is it worth the trouble of switching out my axle? Thanks Alan

V6s dont have an LSD.

They did have limited slip in the later years.

It is a *simple* swap.

verify it is a ratio that you desire and has limited slip first, though.

Since it didn't come with a limited slip could i take the one out of my rearend and trade into the new axle?

Is it possible to use the coils from their(parts car) suspension on my suspension it is making those awful squeak noses over bumps and stuff?
