When you are looking at the opti from the front of the car with the cap off on a 95Z at what position according let's say to a clock is the rotor pointing to when it's at #1 TDC

 

Are you putting the Opti back on or something? Shouldnt the rotor be matching the indexed groove..to the contact point.

Thanks Shoebox, My son was working on a friends Z he just bought that wasn't running and had a bad opti, He put a new one on and it didn't fire, Took it back off and the cam dowel wasn't in the hole, Fixed that and it fired right up.
