So far you are the only one to see this. Everyone else who has researched has come up will information contrary to yours. Don't go getting everyone's hopes up.
(BTW Part #30-1833 here at my local AutoZone was just the aluminum body as well. I was near there today and checked.)
it could be the opti. havent ruled it out, but im gonna try other things first b/c it would be one hell of a coincidence that ive had 3 bad optis. i got the last one under warranty from the dealer, if this one is bad, im gonna shove it up their asses. then convert to a coil pack setup. ill keep you posted, im starting on friday.
