Hesitation gone: replaced fuel pump
Just thought I would pass this on--
I have had low rpm stumble with my '97 Z28 ever since I bought it 2 1/2 years ago--never could figure it out.
Last week my fuel pump died & had it replaced by the dealer under warantee ($950!).
I pick up the car Friday night I couldn't believe how well it idles (always had a small stumble/shake). Then I realize that it's launching without the stumble I have become so used to.
It's like the car had a full tune-up or something--it's great again.
