Here's another of these HELP posts.

Just finished putting the engine together and got it started ( on the first crank he he
All was good until we drained the oil after around 15 min....

There was a lot of Water in the oil ... I do not believe to be condensation.

Please confirm my susspect of a headgasket issue

The heads and block were just machined and we are using Cometic Multi layer steel head gaskets for we were told they would not leak but i think they are...

ANYOTHER POSSIBILITIES I'M NOT THINKING OF?

ALSO the idle was very high ( 2000 ) RPM with the new PCMfor less tune- i do not blame the tune ( yet) he he j/k alvin... I believe it to be a IAC issue- if anyone has any input please let me know..

PLEASE HELP

I plan on digging in...... and taking the heads off tomorrow if no replies...

Well i have heard of cometic's having issues sealing if the block surface is not prepped accordingly.. did you torque everything down correctly? etc..

Re: Here's another of these HELP posts.

High idle like that in a new engine is usually a vacuum leak.

Everything on the manifold is all set - Could it be an IAC sensor problem? Something about throwing counts- illl search around the forum for that.
Anyother advice?
