Helpppp!!!

The End of my dam Low oil sensor broke off in my oil pan!!! i have the motor jacked up as far as it will go and can not get the pan out! How do i get the pan out of the car? I have an M6. Do i need to drop the cradle? and how would i go about doing whatever i need to do?:

You will probly either need to pull the tranny backwards slightly, or lower the kmember, I tried as well and i had to pull the tranny back slightly if I remember correctly, good luck, that sucks man.

Don't quote me but if you drop the cradle down a bit, zip the bolts out and lower it down a bit with a jack. It will be a lot easier than pullin the trans. Just a thought how the hell did you break the sensor anyway?? Good luck man

i started to pull it out and the end slid off and fell in the pan! I was like WTF!?
How would i go about dropping the cradle?

Would it really hurt anything if you just left it in there? I mean, if it is in the deep part, it shouldn't get sucked into the engine or anything. I think....

If I remember correctly from what I've read, support car using jack stands on the frame (not the front suspension or tires on ramp), disconnect the steering shaft from the rack and pinion. Loosen the 6 subframe bolts about 2 to 2 1/2 inches. They are fairly long and will let the cross member drop enough to remove the pan.

I would think that the bolts would support it enough.
