Help w/ Removing PS Pump

Well i took off the alt. and removed the bolts holding the power steering pump to its bracket the only thing left are the lines, the bottom one (metal one) seems to be impossible to get any wrenches on. does anyone have any tips for getting around in there or removing anything for better access.

Thanks,
Kurt

I used a flare nut wrench to loosen the tube nut. It is a tight fit but you can get it in there after removing the pump mounting bolts.

Re: Help w/ Removing PS Pump

I have a set of open end wrenches where the the open end is 90 degrees from the normal position. Works great for that metal line.

I've never seen the 90 degree offset wrenches at Sears. I got this set at Harbor Freight. I'd like a better quality set but I haven't found one yet.
